Good Morning Mighty men of Valor! This literally means "men of courage". So are you feeling courageous this morning? Facing the challenges of yet another week?... another Monday? Felt pretty good attending church yesterday, only to feel the world press in as you began to think about Monday later in the day? Well guess what? We may be in the world, but we are not of the world (Jo 15:19). Jess said we will have some trouble (Jo 16:33) but he overcame this trouble (world) so that we will have COURAGE to face the day, to overcome the day.... each day! Is 54:17 (ESV) says, "no weapon that is fashioned against you shall succeed, and you shall refute every tongue that rises against you in judgment. This is the heritage of the servants of the Lord and their vindication from me, declares the Lord.” This is great! The Lord declares this! We are vindicated by Him....not our own strength, but His! Yes I can, we can, stand and face the day, show COURAGE, even VALOR, for I/we, stand with God and He stands with me/us. If He is for us...... well in this truth I find my courage! Think about it!
