Good morning Men of God...
Well, for me, it seems the world is getting wackier by the day.
I will admit that I have been a little caught up with the politics of the day, but this has only confirmed my opinion that the chasm between God (and His people) and the world is wider than ever. Do you agree?
2 Tim 3 states it plainly...
"But know this, that in the last days perilous times will come: For men will be lovers of themselves, lovers of money, boasters, proud, blasphemers, disobedient to parents, unthankful, unholy, unloving, unforgiving, slanderers, without self-control, brutal, despisers of good, traitors, headstrong, haughty, lovers of pleasure rather than lovers of God, having a form of godliness but denying its power. And from such people turn away! For of this sort are those who creep into households and make captives of gullible women loaded down with sins, led away by various lusts, always learning and never able to come to the knowledge of the truth."
Men's Pastor Scott Caesar has a Man-nerism that says,
"Mature believers submit their lifestyle to scripture.
Immature believers submit scripture to their lifestyle."
No better time than today to be more diligent in letting scripture read our lives.
Let's pause and ask the Holy Spirit to help us.
There will be some collisions in our behaviors and beliefs, but we become more Christ Complete as we submit to God.
