Happy Monday my great brothers,
Just got back from a men's retreat.... powerful time with God.
Why is that?
Why is it that God needs to "call us away" to be with Him in order for us to "feel" Him in a deeper way... to hear Him more clearly... to experience Him more than we do in the everyday?
I guess there are many reasons.... less distractions... being more intentional... spending more time.... praying more.... being more attentive to His voice.
I'm sure you can come up with more.
We see this all throughout scripture....
He called Abraham, Moses, Elijah, John even Jesus to name just a few to separate themselves to "be" with God and God shows up bigtime.
So, this is what I have found and what I need.... to be intentional to set time aside just for Him.... To walk with Him in "my garden"... to speak a little and listen a lot... and then to submit myself to His will.
